Job Description
Coles Supermarkets is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as a Trolley Collection Crew member for casual evening shifts at our Traralgon store. This is a crucial role in maintaining a tidy and accessible shopping experience for our valued customers. You will be responsible for ensuring trolleys are readily available, safe, and organized throughout the store premises, including car park areas, during peak evening hours. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent entry-level opportunity for those looking to gain retail experience and contribute to a busy supermarket environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect shopping trolleys from various locations around the store and car park.
- Safely return trolleys to designated bays and collection points.
- Ensure trolley bays are always stocked and organized for customer convenience.
- Conduct visual checks for damaged or unsafe trolleys and report issues to management.
- Maintain a clean and safe car park environment by removing litter and debris.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety procedures and guidelines, especially when working outdoors.
- Provide friendly and helpful assistance to customers when required, such as directing them to trolley bays or store entrances.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a cooperative team.
- Good physical fitness, including the ability to lift, push, and walk for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Ability to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions (e.g., rain, heat).
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive attitude.
- Must be available to work casual evening shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Preferred Qualifications
