Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and organised Membership Support Assistant to join our professional team in Port Hedland. This role is pivotal in ensuring our members receive exceptional service, managing membership records, and providing comprehensive administrative support to various departments. Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for member inquiries, providing timely and accurate information via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Process new membership applications, renewals, and updates to member details with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date membership databases and records.
  • Assist with the organisation and execution of member events, workshops, and communication campaigns.
  • Prepare and distribute membership-related correspondence, newsletters, and reports.
  • Provide general administrative support to the team, including scheduling, data entry, and document management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and positive member experience.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of membership processes and support services.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative, customer service, or membership support role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A genuine desire to support community initiatives and engage with diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CRM software or membership management systems.
  • Previous experience working within a not-for-profit organisation.
