Job Description
Join Kainos as a QA Tester and play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge software solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure thorough test coverage.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
- Provide clear and concise status updates on testing activities and defect resolution.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a software testing or quality assurance role.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and SDLC.
- Experience with defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
