Job Description

Join Kainos as a QA Tester and play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge software solutions. You will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and working closely with development teams to deliver high-quality products. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications.
  • Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate tools and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure thorough test coverage.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
  • Provide clear and concise status updates on testing activities and defect resolution.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a software testing or quality assurance role.
  • Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and SDLC.
  • Experience with defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
  • Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
