Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and diligent Hotel Laundry Attendant to join our team at Mantra Geraldton. This is a full-time position offering consistent work within a supportive environment. Your primary focus will be on the efficient processing of all hotel linens and guest laundry, ensuring items are cleaned, pressed, and prepared to our high-quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization in the laundry facility. There are no direct guest interactions or phone calls required in this role, allowing you to focus purely on your tasks. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for stable employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, iron, and fold all hotel linens, including sheets, towels, and uniforms.
- Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect items for stains or damage and apply appropriate treatment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the laundry room.
- Ensure timely processing of laundry to meet operational needs.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to management.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, standing, and bending.
