Job Description
We are seeking reliable and dedicated individuals to join our team as Glass Sorters at our recycling facility in Cairns. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking for steady, full-time employment with a focus on environmental sustainability. No prior experience in recycling is necessary; comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you are confident and competent in your role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manually sort glass materials from incoming waste streams according to type and color specifications.
- Identify and remove contaminants such as plastics, metals, and other non-glass items.
- Ensure the quality and purity of sorted glass to meet recycling standards.
- Operate basic sorting equipment safely and efficiently after receiving training.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily sorting targets.

- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
