Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Hotel Maintenance Helper to join our dedicated team at Rydges Armidale. This entry-level position is perfect for someone looking to start a career in hotel maintenance, offering extensive on-the-job training in a variety of tasks and the use of essential tools. You will assist our experienced maintenance staff with daily operations, ensuring the smooth functioning and upkeep of our hotel property. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior maintenance technicians with routine repairs and preventative maintenance tasks across the hotel property.
- Perform basic repairs such as patching walls, changing light bulbs, and minor plumbing fixes.
- Help with painting, carpentry, and other general maintenance duties as required.
- Learn to safely and effectively use various hand and power tools under supervision.
- Conduct daily checks of common areas and facilities, reporting any issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance workshops and storage areas.
- Support the team in responding to guest requests for maintenance assistance.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
