Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and physically capable Catering Van Loader to join our operations team in Apple Valley, MN. This entry-level position is crucial to ensuring our catering orders are accurately and safely loaded onto delivery vans. The role involves consistent heavy lifting, meticulous organization of warmers and coolers, and adherence to strict safety and hygiene protocols. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to start a career in logistics and food service without prior experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately load catering orders, including warmers, coolers, and supplies, onto delivery vans according to manifests.
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) regularly throughout the shift.
- Inspect warmers and coolers for cleanliness and proper function before loading.
- Organize and secure items within the vans to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify order accuracy and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized loading dock area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
