Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Dishwasher to join our kitchen team in Brighton. This is an entry-level position perfect for someone looking to start their career in hospitality, with full training provided. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen, ensuring our culinary team has the equipment they need to create exceptional dishes. Your contribution is vital to the smooth operation of our busy restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment and by hand.
- Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, including sinks, work surfaces, and storage racks.
- Assist with basic kitchen prep tasks as needed, such as peeling vegetables or restocking supplies.
- Handle and store clean equipment and dishes properly.
- Empty trash cans and maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Support the kitchen team by ensuring a continuous supply of clean equipment.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to management.
