Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Hotel Maintenance Helper to join our team at The Byron Sands Resort. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals keen to learn practical trade skills in a supportive environment. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive tool training and on-the-job guidance. You will assist our skilled maintenance team with a variety of tasks, ensuring the resort remains in pristine condition for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior maintenance staff with routine repairs and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Perform minor carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting duties as directed.
- Conduct regular inspections of hotel rooms and common areas, identifying maintenance needs.
- Help with the upkeep of resort grounds, including light landscaping and pool area maintenance.
- Learn to use and maintain various tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Respond promptly to guest and staff requests for maintenance assistance.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, tidy, and safe.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
