Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Auto Auction Lot Driver to join our team. In this full-time, on-site role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of diverse vehicles across our auction lot. If you have a clean driving record, a passion for cars, and enjoy a fast-paced work environment, we want to hear from you. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently move vehicles of various makes and models across the auction lot and designated areas.
- Adhere to strict timelines and schedules for vehicle placement and retrieval.
- Conduct pre-and post-movement inspections of vehicles for any existing or new damages, reporting findings accurately.
- Maintain an organized and clean auction lot, ensuring vehicles are parked in designated spots.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, as well as traffic laws.
- Assist with other lot duties as required, contributing to overall operational efficiency.
Required Skills
- Possession of a valid Class 5 (or equivalent) driver's license.
- Demonstrated clean driving record.
- Ability to safely operate a wide range of vehicle types, including both automatic and manual transmissions.
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills for vehicle inspection.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
- Physical ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently, and walk significant distances across the lot.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a logistics, vehicle handling, or automotive yard role.
- Familiarity with auto auction processes or car dealership operations.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics or car features.
