Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Word Processor to join our administrative team in Norwich. This role is crucial for ensuring the professional presentation and accuracy of a wide range of company documents. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, formatting, editing, and proofreading documents, reports, presentations, and other materials, adhering to strict company standards and brand guidelines. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Word.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, format, and edit a variety of complex documents, including reports, presentations, correspondence, and proposals, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Proofread documents for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and adherence to company style guides.
- Utilize advanced features of Microsoft Word, such as styles, templates, tables of contents, and mail merge, to produce high-quality output.
- Manage document versions and maintain organized electronic filing systems.
- Collaborate with various departments and individuals to understand document requirements and deliver projects on time.
- Assist with data entry and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
Required Skills
- Proven advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word (formatting, styles, templates).
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
- Strong command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a word processing or administrative support role within a corporate or financial services environment.
- Familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
