Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Community Center Assistant to join our team in Cheltenham. This flexible, part-time role is perfect for someone who is passionate about their local community and enjoys a varied workday. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our community center, providing essential support to both staff and visitors. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the community center, ensuring facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Support the setup and pack-down of various community events, workshops, and activities.
- Welcome visitors, answer general enquiries, and provide information about center services and local resources.
- Manage bookings for rooms and equipment, maintaining accurate records.
- Provide administrative support, including basic data entry, photocopying, and handling communications.
- Help to promote center activities through distributing leaflets and updating notice boards.
- Act as a point of contact for external partners and community groups using the facilities.
