Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Small Parts Sorting Operative to join our team in Newcastle upon Tyne. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the accurate sorting and visual inspection of small components, ensuring they meet our stringent quality standards. This is a day shift position that requires excellent attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a commitment to maintaining a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing or logistics environment. Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspection of small parts for defects, damage, or inconsistencies.
- Accurately sort and segregate components based on predefined criteria and specifications.
- Operate basic sorting machinery and tools safely and efficiently (training provided).
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
- Document inspection results and report any identified issues to supervisors.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to quality control and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production and quality targets.
