Job Description
Are you looking for an immediate start in a fast-paced environment with no prior experience required? Amazon Logistics in Glasgow is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Warehouse Associates to join our growing team. This is a full-time position offering comprehensive training from day one. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring products are received, stored, and shipped accurately and on time, contributing directly to our mission of delighting customers. Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming shipments and check for accuracy against manifests
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence
- Pick, pack, and label customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks (training provided)
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations
- Assist with inventory counts and report any discrepancies
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily operational goals
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 23 kg (50 lbs) regularly
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Basic understanding of English for safety instructions and communication
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced warehouse setting
- No prior warehouse experience is required – full training will be provided
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a physical role or fast-paced environment (e.g., retail, hospitality, construction) is a plus but not essential
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays, if required
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
