Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Drywall / Plasterer’s Assistant to join our dynamic team in Stoke-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in construction or those with basic site experience who are eager to learn and develop new skills. You will work indoors, assisting our experienced drywallers and plasterers on various projects, contributing to the high-quality finishes our clients expect. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist skilled drywallers and plasterers with various tasks.
  • Prepare work areas, including cleaning, covering surfaces, and setting up equipment.
  • Handle and transport materials such as drywall sheets, plaster, tools, and scaffolding.
  • Mix plaster and other materials according to specifications.
  • Clean and maintain tools and equipment.
  • Help with surface preparation, including sanding, patching, and applying primers.
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with site regulations.
  • Support the team in maintaining a tidy and organised workspace.

  • Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.
  • Full UK driving license.
