Job Description
Join our team as a Wallpaper Steamer & Remover, a vital role in preparing interior spaces for fresh new finishes. This position involves careful and efficient removal of existing wallpaper using steam and other methods, ensuring surfaces are clean, smooth, and ready for priming and painting. This is an indoor prep work role, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in the skilled trades.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate wallpaper steaming equipment.
- Carefully remove wallpaper and adhesive residues from walls and ceilings.
- Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, and cleaning to ensure they are smooth and free of defects.
- Protect surrounding areas and furniture from water and debris during the removal process.
- Dispose of removed materials responsibly.
- Assist with other general site preparation tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
