Job Description
Are you looking for a role in a bustling kitchen environment where you can contribute to the smooth running of operations? PizzaExpress in Poole is seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our back-room team as a Pizza Dough Tray Washer. This is an entry-level, part-time position perfect for someone who takes pride in cleanliness and wants to be an integral part of our kitchen support staff. Full training will be provided, so no prior experience is necessary. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our kitchen has a constant supply of clean equipment, supporting our chefs and pizzaiolos in delivering the best pizza experience to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly wash and sanitize pizza dough trays, kitchen utensils, and other assigned equipment.
- Operate and maintain dishwashing machinery according to safety and hygiene standards.
- Ensure all washed items are properly air-dried, stored, and readily available for use.
- Assist with general kitchen cleanliness and organization, including sweeping and mopping designated areas.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling effectively.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure a continuous supply of clean equipment.
