Job Description

We are seeking reliable and compassionate individuals to join our team as Hospital Porters. In this essential role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of patients, equipment, specimens, and supplies throughout the hospital. This is a critical support position that directly contributes to the smooth operation of our healthcare services and the comfort of our patients. Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport patients via wheelchairs, trolleys, and beds between wards, departments, and clinics.
  • Move medical equipment, furniture, and supplies around the hospital premises.
  • Deliver and collect pathology samples, blood products, and other vital items.
  • Assist with waste management and linen distribution.
  • Ensure a clean and tidy environment in transit areas and common spaces.
  • Respond promptly to requests from medical staff and other departments.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and hospital policies.
  • Provide compassionate and respectful interaction with patients and visitors.
