Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our bustling team as a Barbershop Sweeper / Front Desk assistant. This entry-level position is perfect for someone looking to get their foot in the door of a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the shop’s pristine appearance and ensuring a smooth, welcoming experience for all clients. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for individuals with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn. Excellent potential for cash tips based on service and client interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the barbershop throughout the day, including sweeping hair, sanitizing stations, and cleaning mirrors.
- Ensure all barbering tools and equipment are properly sanitized and organized for use.
- Assist barbers with client preparation and station setup as needed.
- Greet clients warmly upon arrival and manage their check-ins and appointments using our booking system.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to client inquiries with professionalism.
- Process payments and manage cash transactions accurately, including handling cash tips.
- Maintain a welcoming and organized front desk area.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies.
- Support the team with various ad-hoc tasks to ensure smooth shop operations.
