Job Description

Join the Purolator team as a Multi-Drop Delivery Driver, where you’ll play a crucial role in connecting businesses and customers across Kelowna. We provide a company van and offer weekly pay, along with flexible scheduling options to help you achieve work-life balance. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable individuals who enjoy being on the road and providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of parcels on a multi-drop route within a defined geographic area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a company-provided delivery van to transport parcels to various destinations.
  • Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.
  • Accurately load, unload, and sort packages for delivery, ensuring efficient route planning.
  • Deliver packages to customers on assigned routes, adhering to scheduled times.
  • Obtain necessary signatures and complete delivery paperwork accurately.
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service during all interactions.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
  • Use handheld technology for scanning and tracking deliveries.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor delivery issues, escalating as needed.

Required Skills

  • Valid Class 5 (or equivalent) driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs (32 kg).
  • Excellent geographical knowledge of Kelowna and surrounding areas.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a delivery or courier role.
  • Familiarity with handheld scanning devices and logistics software.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
