Job Description
Are you looking for a flexible way to earn money in Earlsdon, Coventry? Deliveroo is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Home Delivery Drivers to join our growing team. As a Deliveroo driver, you’ll be responsible for picking up food orders from local restaurants and delivering them efficiently and courteously to our hungry customers. This role offers complete flexibility, allowing you to choose your own hours and work when it suits you best. All you need is your own car or scooter, a smartphone, and a passion for providing excellent service. No prior experience is required – we provide full training to get you started!
Key Responsibilities
- Collect food orders from various restaurant partners in a timely manner.
- Safely and efficiently transport orders to customer locations.
- Ensure the correct delivery of orders to the right customers.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor with restaurant staff and customers.
- Manage delivery times to meet customer expectations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Utilize the Deliveroo rider app to accept, manage, and complete deliveries.
Required Skills
- Valid UK driving licence (car or scooter, depending on vehicle choice).
- Access to a reliable car or scooter with appropriate insurance (including hire and reward insurance).
- A smartphone (iOS or Android) with a data plan.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to navigate using GPS effectively.
- Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the Earlsdon and wider Coventry area.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
