Job Description
Join McKee Foods Corporation, a leading snack food manufacturer, as an Entry-Level Factory Production Worker in Chattanooga, TN! We are looking for dedicated individuals eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced production environment. No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success. This is a full-time, on-site position with rotating shifts, offering an exciting opportunity to start your career in manufacturing with a reputable company.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery under supervision, ensuring efficient operation.
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure adherence to company standards and specifications.
- Package finished goods for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and handling.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift, adhering to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards.
- Follow all safety protocols, company policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production status and any issues.
- Assist with other production tasks as needed to support overall plant operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential for shift work.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
