Key Responsibilities
- Assist VR developers and designers in the conceptualization and creation of virtual reality experiences.
- Conduct thorough testing of VR applications to identify bugs, performance issues, and user experience bottlenecks.
- Help set up and maintain VR hardware and associated equipment.
- Research emerging VR technologies, trends, and best practices to inform future projects.
- Provide support in documentation and project management tasks as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, artists, and project managers.
Required Skills
- Strong passion and interest in virtual reality technology and its potential.
- Basic familiarity with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine (personal projects are a plus).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant program (e.g., Computer Science, Game Design, Digital Media, Engineering).
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with personal VR/AR projects or academic coursework.
- Basic knowledge of 3D modeling software (e.g., Blender, Maya, 3ds Max).
- Understanding of scripting languages (e.g., C#, Python) is an asset.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
