Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Chiropractor to join our dynamic team at Northern Lights Chiropractic & Wellness. As a Chiropractor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of musculoskeletal conditions. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient examinations, including history taking, physical exams, and diagnostic imaging interpretation.
- Diagnose musculoskeletal conditions and develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans.
- Administer chiropractic adjustments and other therapeutic modalities.
- Educate patients on spinal health, ergonomics, exercise, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with clinic standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
- Participate in continuous professional development and stay updated on the latest chiropractic techniques and research.
- Contribute to the clinic's marketing and community outreach efforts.
- Ensure a high level of patient satisfaction and foster long-term patient relationships.
Required Skills
- Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current and unrestricted chiropractic license in your home country (eligibility for Canadian licensure is essential).
- Proven experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
- Excellent diagnostic, clinical, and adjustment skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate and confidential patient records.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a private practice setting.
- Specialized certifications (e.g., Graston Technique, Active Release Techniques, dry needling).
- Experience with diverse patient populations (e.g., athletes, pregnant women, pediatric patients).
- Bilingual proficiency (English is required, French is an asset).
