Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team in Brixton, London. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual looking to make a significant impact on cutting-edge projects, with comprehensive visa sponsorship provided for successful international candidates (H1B or UK Skilled Worker Visa). You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying robust and scalable web applications, contributing to both front-end and back-end development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable full-stack web applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code across the entire software stack.
- Implement and maintain APIs, services, and database schemas.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and share knowledge.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural discussions.
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in front-end technologies: React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Strong command of back-end languages: Node.js (with Express) or Python (with Django/Flask).
- Extensive experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Cypress, Pytest).
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Previous experience leading small development teams or projects.
