Job Description

West African Plastics & Packaging Plc. is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Plastic Manufacturing Machine Operator Trainees. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for those with no prior experience in manufacturing. We believe in nurturing talent and will provide comprehensive, hands-on training to equip you with the skills and knowledge required to operate and maintain our advanced plastic molding and extrusion machinery safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all provided training programs covering machine operation, safety protocols, and quality control procedures.
- Learn to set up, operate, and monitor various plastic manufacturing machines under direct supervision.
- Assist in the loading of raw materials and unloading of finished products.
- Conduct routine checks on machine performance and product quality, reporting any issues to senior operators or supervisors.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety regulations and procedures, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by offering observations and feedback.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting as instructed during training.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously and learn new tasks quickly.

- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.

Preferred Qualifications
