Job Description
Are you a student looking for flexible weekend work that fits around your studies? Golden Spoon Hospitality Group is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Student Catering Aides to join our flexible weekend event roster. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in the vibrant hospitality industry. As a Catering Aide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and successful execution of various events, from setup to service and cleanup. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal entry-level position for those with no prior experience in catering.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with event setup, including arranging tables, chairs, and buffet lines.
- Support the serving of food and beverages to guests, adhering to service standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of event spaces throughout the duration of the event.
- Assist with dishwashing, clearing tables, and general kitchen support as needed.
- Help with breakdown and cleanup after events, ensuring all equipment is stored properly.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Work collaboratively with the catering team to deliver excellent guest experiences.
