Job Description
Join our dynamic team as an Industrial Packer at our Devonport facility. This role involves precise and efficient packing of various goods for distribution, ensuring product integrity and timely dispatch. We are seeking a reliable individual with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pack, label, and prepare goods for shipment according to specifications.
- Operate packing machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform quality checks on packed items to ensure they meet standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as required.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a packing, warehousing, or manufacturing environment (minimum 1 year).
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 20kg safely.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures in an industrial setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift license (LF class).
- Previous experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Knowledge of Australian packaging standards.
