Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Frontend React Developer to join our growing technology team based in Kirkby. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced developer to contribute to critical customer-facing applications and internal tools, driving our digital strategy forward. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive, and user-friendly web applications using React.js and its ecosystem.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and product managers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies and industry trends.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Strong experience with React.js and its core principles.
- Familiarity with modern frontend build pipelines and tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API).
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
- Proficient with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest or React Testing Library.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) frameworks like Next.js.
