Job Description

We are seeking an innovative and user-centric Product Designer to join our dynamic team in Leeds. As a Product Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience and visual design of our cutting-edge products, from concept to launch. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate user needs and business requirements into intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing designs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to inform design decisions.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups.
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
  • Present and defend design decisions to stakeholders, incorporating feedback iteratively.
  • Maintain and evolve design systems and UI guidelines.
  • Advocate for the user throughout the product development lifecycle.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and mockups.
  • Excellent visual design skills with an eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Ability to communicate design concepts effectively to various stakeholders.
  • A portfolio showcasing strong design skills and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, HCI, or a related field.
  • Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG).
  • Experience with motion graphics or animation for UI.
