Job Description

A fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven Engineering Intern to join our Thermodynamics & Heat Transfer team. This internship offers hands-on experience in a dynamic engineering environment, contributing to real-world projects focused on energy efficiency, thermal management, and fluid dynamics. You will gain invaluable insight into the application of theoretical thermodynamics principles in practical engineering challenges, working alongside experienced engineers and mentors. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates eager to kickstart their career in a leading global consultancy. Full training and mentorship will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior engineers in conducting thermodynamic analyses and heat transfer calculations for various projects.
  • Support the design and optimization of thermal systems and components.
  • Perform data collection and analysis from experimental setups or simulations.
  • Contribute to the preparation of technical reports and documentation.
  • Participate in team meetings and design reviews.
  • Learn and apply industry-standard engineering software tools.
  • Conduct literature reviews on advanced thermodynamics and heat transfer topics.

Required Skills

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Fundamental understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
  • Exposure to simulation software (e.g., Ansys Fluent, STAR-CCM+, COMSOL).
  • Basic programming skills (e.g., Python, MATLAB).
  • Previous project work or coursework related to thermal systems or energy efficiency.
