Job Description
Are you looking to kickstart a career in aviation but have no prior experience? Corvallis Aero Services is seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as an Aircraft Refueler / Line Service Technician. This is an entry-level position where we provide comprehensive, full training from day one. You’ll learn the essential skills to safely and efficiently refuel various types of aircraft, provide crucial ground support, and ensure a smooth experience for our clients. Key Responsibilities
- Perform safe and efficient fueling of various aircraft types (piston, turboprop, jet) according to company and industry standards.
- Operate and maintain fuel trucks and ground support equipment (GSE), ensuring they are in good working order and properly stocked.
- Marshall aircraft to and from parking areas, guiding pilots with clear and precise hand signals.
- Provide excellent customer service to pilots, passengers, and crew, assisting with luggage, catering, and other requests.
- Perform general ramp duties, including cleaning, organizing, and ensuring a safe and clean operating environment.
- Conduct daily fuel quality control checks and maintain accurate fueling logs and records.
- Assist with aircraft towing, hangar moves, and other ground support activities as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, regulations, and company procedures.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and customers.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and climbing.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a physically demanding role or outdoor work environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude or experience with equipment operation.
- Customer service experience.
- Interest in aviation or a desire to build a career in the industry.
