Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Hotel Room Attendants to join our dynamic housekeeping team in Port Augusta. This casual loading position offers day shifts, perfect for individuals looking for flexibility and consistent work. As a Room Attendant, you will be crucial in ensuring our guests enjoy a pristine and comfortable environment, maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and presentation that Rydges is renowned for. Full training will be provided to ensure you are confident in all aspects of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest rooms and bathrooms to Rydges' high standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing.
- Replenish amenities and linens in guest rooms.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items promptly to the supervisor.
- Handle guest requests efficiently and courteously.
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, and storage rooms.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned rooms within specified timeframes.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Physical stamina to perform duties that include bending, lifting, pushing, and standing for extended periods.
- Positive attitude and a commitment to guest satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning or hospitality role is an advantage but not essential.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training provided).
