Job Description
Join Coastal Fresh Food Co. as a Part-time Food Process Hand and become an integral part of our production team. You will assist with various tasks in our Maroochydore facility, ensuring the efficient and hygienic processing of food products. This role involves working day shifts and offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the food manufacturing industry. Full training will be provided, making it ideal for enthusiastic individuals looking to start or grow their career.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, cutting, and sorting fruits and vegetables.
- Operate and monitor basic food processing machinery under supervision.
- Package finished food products according to company standards.
- Perform quality checks on raw materials and finished goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to strict hygiene and sanitation protocols.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices (or willingness to learn).
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15kg.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment.
- Food Handler's Certificate or equivalent.
- Experience with basic machinery operation.
