Job Description
Are you reliable, hardworking, and looking for an immediate start with weekly pay? We are currently seeking enthusiastic Drivers Mates / Porters to join our busy team in Hereford. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy early starts and working as part of a dynamic delivery crew. No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and competent in your role. You will be assisting our drivers with the safe and efficient delivery of parcels to residential and business customers throughout the local area. This role requires a good level of physical fitness and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist drivers with the safe loading and unloading of parcels.
- Navigate routes and deliver parcels to designated locations.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
- Handle parcels with care to prevent damage.
- Communicate effectively with the driver and customers.
- Ensure all delivery paperwork or electronic records are completed accurately.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Support the driver in maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the vehicle.
Required Skills
- Reliable and punctual.
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry parcels.
- Strong work ethic and a can-do attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work early morning shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role is a bonus but not essential.
- Familiarity with the Hereford area.
