Job Description
We are currently seeking a meticulous and reliable Window Frame Assembler to join our busy factory team in Albury. In this full-time, on-site role, you will be instrumental in the assembly of various window and door frames, ensuring they meet our strict quality standards and client specifications. This is a factory-based position requiring regular work hours, contributing directly to the production of our premium products.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately assemble window and door frames using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to ensure precise assembly.
- Perform quality control checks on finished products to identify and rectify any defects.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and OH&S regulations.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials as required.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently after appropriate training.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 12 months of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using various hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to read and interpret measurements accurately.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and move materials as needed throughout the shift.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
- Basic numeracy skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience specifically in window or door manufacturing/assembly.
- Forklift operator license (advantageous but not essential).
- Vocational training or certifications in manufacturing or a related field.
- Knowledge of different window and door systems and components.
