Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented WFH Stock Control Administrator with a strong focus on warehouse systems to join our dynamic team. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home in Wangaratta or surrounding areas. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting our warehouse management systems, and ensuring the smooth flow of stock information across our operations. You will play a crucial part in optimising our supply chain efficiency by ensuring data integrity and timely processing of stock-related documentation. This role requires an individual with excellent analytical skills, a meticulous approach to data, and the ability to thrive in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate stock records and reconcile inventory discrepancies within our Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Process inbound and outbound stock movements, transfers, and adjustments efficiently.
- Generate and analyse stock control reports to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate remotely with warehouse operations teams, procurement, and other departments to resolve stock-related queries.
- Perform regular data entry and system updates to ensure real-time accuracy of inventory levels.
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of stock variances and non-conformance issues.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for stock control processes and system functionalities.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures related to stock management and data security.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in an administrative or data entry role, ideally with a focus on inventory or supply chain.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (intermediate to advanced skills).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office setup.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
- Prior experience in a remote work setting.
- Understanding of basic inventory control principles and supply chain processes.
- A relevant Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
