Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic WFH Design Junior to join our creative team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring designer looking to kickstart their career in branding and social media graphics. You will work 100% remotely, collaborating with a supportive team to bring fresh visual ideas to life for various internal and external campaigns. Full training and mentorship will be provided, making this an ideal role for someone with foundational design skills and a strong eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation of engaging visual content for social media platforms, including static images, simple animations, and story assets.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of brand guidelines and visual identities for various projects.
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to understand project requirements and deliver design solutions.
- Prepare design files for various outputs, ensuring consistency and quality across all assets.
- Participate in design critiques and incorporate feedback to refine and improve designs.
- Research current design trends, social media best practices, and competitor activities to inform creative strategies.
- Organize and maintain design assets, ensuring easy accessibility and proper version control.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of graphic design principles (layout, typography, color theory).
- Familiarity with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or Figma, and ideally Canva.
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and design challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Preferred Qualifications
- A basic portfolio showcasing personal projects, student work, or self-initiated designs.
- Some experience or coursework related to marketing, social media, or branding.
- Understanding of current social media platforms and their visual requirements.
- Experience with simple animation tools or GIF creation.
