Job Description
We are urgently seeking highly motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as Warehouse Workers at our Springwood facility. This is an incredible opportunity for anyone looking to start a career in logistics, as no prior experience is required – full training will be provided! We have immediate openings available across all shifts (day, afternoon, night). If you’re physically fit, eager to learn, and ready to be a crucial part of a fast-paced operation, we encourage you to apply. You’ll be responsible for a variety of warehouse activities, ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload goods from trucks and containers.
- Accurately sort, pick, pack, and label inventory according to established procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (training provided for certification if required).
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety protocols.
- Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing products to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals and deadlines.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 20kg, standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar industrial environment (though not mandatory).
- Current forklift licence or experience operating other warehouse machinery (training can be provided to suitable candidates).
- First Aid certification.
- Understanding of basic warehousing principles.
