Job Description

Canadian Tire is excited to welcome enthusiastic and reliable individuals to our team as a Warehouse Picker Packer. This is a permanent, entry-level position where we will provide comprehensive training to equip you with all the skills needed to succeed. You will be an essential part of our logistics operation, ensuring products are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment to our valued customers and stores.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and retrieve products from warehouse shelves based on order sheets or scanning devices.
- Carefully pack items into appropriate containers, ensuring products are secure for transit.
- Verify product quantities and ensure items match order specifications.
- Operate pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment safely (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs repetitively.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Basic communication skills (reading and understanding instructions).
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a physical labor role (not necessarily warehouse).
- Familiarity with basic scanning technology.
- Understanding of workplace safety practices.
- Forklift certification (an asset, but not required).
