Job Description
Canadian Tire Corporation is seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Janitorial Staff member to join our team in London, Ontario. This full-time position is crucial for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be someone who takes initiative, works diligently with minimal supervision, and is committed to upholding our facility’s high standards. While previous experience is a plus, we are willing to train individuals with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn. You will be responsible for a variety of cleaning tasks, ensuring all areas meet health and safety regulations, and supporting the overall efficiency of our operations. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties in assigned areas of the warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and other common areas.
- Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and restroom amenities as needed.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and buffing machines.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or needed repairs to management.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies regarding cleaning chemical usage and waste disposal.
- Assist with seasonal or deep cleaning projects as required.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a janitorial or custodial role, particularly in a warehouse or industrial setting (an asset, but not required).
