Job Description
Join Prairie Bites Distribution as a Vending Machine Snack Packer! This entry-level position is perfect for individuals who are organized, detail-oriented, and looking for stable full-time employment. You will be responsible for accurately preparing snack and beverage boxes for our route drivers, ensuring each vending machine is restocked with the right products. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training to all new team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unpack incoming snack and beverage deliveries.
- Sort and organize products in the warehouse according to inventory procedures.
- Accurately pick and pack items based on daily order sheets for vending machine routes.
- Verify product counts and ensure all boxes are complete and ready for drivers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) after training.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and follow instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic numeracy skills for counting and verification.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, packing, or light industrial setting is an asset but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
