Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and meticulous Vacation Rental Cleaner / Turnaround Specialist to join our Modesto team. This role is critical in ensuring our vacation rental properties are immaculately clean, perfectly staged, and ready for new guests on tight schedules. You will be responsible for executing comprehensive cleaning protocols and ensuring each property meets our stringent standards for guest readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all rooms in vacation rental properties, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas.
- Launder and change linens, make beds to hospitality standards.
- Clean and sanitize all surfaces, appliances, fixtures, and floors.
- Stock amenities and guest supplies according to property specifications.
- Inspect properties for damage, missing items, or maintenance issues and report them promptly.
- Adhere to strict turnaround schedules to ensure properties are guest-ready on time.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Follow all safety guidelines and use cleaning products appropriately and safely.
- Stage properties to ensure an inviting and aesthetically pleasing environment for arriving guests.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in professional cleaning, preferably in hospitality or vacation rental settings (6 months minimum).
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- Physical ability to perform demanding cleaning tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and ability to report issues clearly.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays, based on booking schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with vacation rental software or scheduling tools.
- Familiarity with eco-friendly cleaning practices.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus.
