Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Vacation Intern with an Information Technology Focus to join our team in Gold Coast. This is an incredible opportunity for students or recent graduates eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic IT environment. You will support our existing IT professionals, learn about various systems and infrastructure, and contribute to real-world projects. No prior professional experience is required; we are looking for individuals with a strong desire to learn and grow in the IT field. Full training and mentorship will be provided to help you succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist IT support staff with day-to-day operations and basic technical queries.
- Learn about network infrastructure, software applications, and hardware maintenance.
- Help with documentation of IT processes, system configurations, and user guides.
- Participate in project-based tasks, offering support and learning opportunities.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting for common IT issues under supervision.
- Shadow experienced IT professionals to understand various roles and functions within the department.
Required Skills
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Strong eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
- Excellent problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree or diploma program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows/macOS/Linux) and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems or IT service management tools is a plus.
