Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and accurately process incoming Triple Zero (000) emergency calls.
  • Rapidly assess situations to determine the nature and severity of the emergency.
  • Gather critical information from callers while maintaining a calm and reassuring demeanor.
  • Prioritise and dispatch appropriate emergency service resources (Police, Fire, Ambulance) efficiently.
  • Provide pre-arrival instructions to callers in life-threatening situations.
  • Maintain clear and concise records of all calls and dispatches.
  • Communicate effectively with emergency service personnel in the field.
  • Adhere to established protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure public safety.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs.
