Job Description
Are you looking for a career change or a new start in logistics? Loblaws is offering an incredible opportunity to become a fully qualified Reach Truck Driver with no prior experience required! We are seeking dedicated individuals for a permanent, full-time Trainee Reach Truck Driver position at our state-of-the-art distribution centre in Brampton. This role comes with a fully funded licence, comprehensive training, and excellent long-term career prospects. Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all training sessions for Reach Truck operation and warehouse safety.
- Learn to safely operate a Reach Truck to move, stack, and retrieve materials within the warehouse.
- Assist with general warehouse duties including picking, packing, and loading as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
Required Skills
- No prior experience as a Reach Truck Driver is required (full training provided).
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment (asset, but not required).
- Familiarity with basic inventory management concepts.
