Job Description

CISSS de Lanaudière is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Trainee Mental Health Support Workers. This is an incredible opportunity for compassionate individuals with no prior experience in mental health to start a rewarding career. Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct support and companionship to individuals with mental health conditions, under supervision.
- Assist service users with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
- Engage service users in therapeutic activities and community outings to promote social integration and well-being.
- Monitor and report any changes in a service user's physical or mental condition to senior staff.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of interactions and progress.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic and person-centered care.
- Support the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Foster a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for all service users.
