Job Description
Are you looking to start a rewarding career in public service? Sun Link Rail Operations is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Train Station Platform Attendants. This is an entry-level position where no prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive, paid training to equip you with all the knowledge and skills needed to succeed. As a Platform Attendant, you will be the friendly face of our transit system, ensuring the safety and comfort of our passengers while contributing to the smooth operation of our streetcar services. Key Responsibilities
- Assist passengers with inquiries regarding routes, schedules, and fares.
- Monitor platform areas to ensure passenger safety and adherence to transit rules.
- Provide assistance to passengers with disabilities, including operating ramps or lifts as needed.
- Report any unusual or suspicious activities, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Provide clear and concise announcements regarding train arrivals, departures, and service changes.
- Maintain a clean and orderly platform environment.
- Act as a first point of contact for emergency situations, following established protocols.
- Work collaboratively with other transit personnel to ensure efficient operations.

- Bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English) is an asset.
- Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR (training provided if not certified).
