Job Description

Northern Ontario Title & Escrow Services is seeking a motivated and meticulous Title & Deed Search Clerk to join our team. No prior experience is required as we provide full, comprehensive training to help you master the intricacies of title and deed research. You will be responsible for examining property records, identifying crucial information, and ensuring the integrity of real estate transactions. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough research of public records to identify property ownership, encumbrances, and legal descriptions.
  • Examine deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, and other documents affecting property titles.
  • Compile and analyze data from various sources to create detailed title reports.
  • Organize and maintain accurate electronic and physical records.
  • Communicate findings clearly and concisely to senior clerks and legal professionals.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support the title department.
