Job Description
Join H&R Block as a Taxpayer Support Representative and become a vital part of our team, assisting taxpayers with their inquiries via inbound calls. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about helping others, possess excellent communication skills, and are eager to learn about tax processes. You will be the first point of contact for clients seeking assistance, providing clear, concise, and accurate information, and guiding them through various tax-related questions. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you have all the knowledge and tools needed to succeed in this essential role.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls from taxpayers in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Provide accurate information and assistance regarding tax inquiries, software usage, and account-related questions.
- Listen attentively to customer concerns, identify the root cause of issues, and offer effective solutions.
- Document all customer interactions and resolutions accurately in our CRM system.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to specialized teams when necessary.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of taxpayer information.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and service level agreements.
- Continuously learn and stay updated on tax laws, regulations, and company offerings through provided training.
